Carpet Handling and Manufacturing
Mobile Range
We manufacture a wide range of machines from the vary compact machines for retail to small wholesale operations here there is only a requirement to produce 20-120 cut orders per day, Where manual intervention is acceptable to help in the rolling and the packaging. Measurement is controlled by electronic based digital counters to provide pre-programmed required length with accurate stop.
Signals and roll end checks for balance for accurate control over roll stock. This particular range of machines can be mounted on wheels to allow the machine to be wheeled in and out of operational position when required.
Cut Order Range
This range of equipment is designed to each particular client precise requirements in terms of production requirements, inspection, cutting requirement either convential cut order cross cutting ith optional slitting, or more complex intersecting plan cutting with direct interfacing to computer driven optimisation programmes. The wrapping material dispensers can work with paper, or low or high density P.E. films, dependant upon the range and type of products to be handled. We can either recommend our pressure head rolling system or our pivoting frame design, each have their own particular merits with differing enviroments. Typically we can provide machines configured to provide between 200 and 780 cuts per eight hour shift, dependant on cuts per roll ratio.
Batch Range
Our automatic batching unit is designed to measure and roll and wrap mill rolls completely automatically without any operative intervention, where required and given sufficient accumulation capacity we can provide optimisation programms that will calculate the optimum cutting programme to minimise waste re-grade material.
Our reroll head utilises pneumatically coounter balanced pressure to give precise and accurate control of rolling pressures maximising on roll size yet eliminating pile marking. All of our autobatch units come complete with our anti-telescope device to ensure precise control over pile walking. In addition to fully automatic batching we can provide a choice of roll up designs to all production requirements.
Lynx PC Based Management & Measuring System
All of our high production machines come complete with our LYNX P.C. based measuring management system, which provides for a self calibrating, self checking and self inhibiting measuring system, which is based upon the industry standard sampling system over a fixed length.
Comparison of slippage correction calculation. All of our systems come complete with serial and parallel communications ports which provides connectivity with external printers, bar code readers and mainframe systems and networks. We are continually revising this particular product to keep pace with the rapid rate of change within the computer industry.
Endpack Equipment
We manufacture a wide range of package and seal systems for differing packaging requirements, for the resilient floor covering industries we can supply crimp and end press stations to provide the traditional end bung package that allows a roll to be stored on end. For the carpet industry we can either provide a clipped end that consists of a wire tie press around the gather wrtapping material, or in order to make recycling of polythene easier we can ultrasonically weld the film onto itself both type of carpet end seal provides a christmas cracker type end which provides a suitable handle to lift or pull the package.
